Your task is to design for a streaming service of your choice. You are permitted to choose an existing service and explore ways to improve aspects of it’s interface and experience or design a total overhaul! You could also propose an entirely new service with a unique concept, media type or functionality not currently offered.
To start this project, I decided to do an overall mind map of all the different streaming services I could think of at the time. I am wanting to focus more on Spotify as it is the music streaming service I use the most. I feel this could be quite interesting to look more into and see how things could improve.

I created a collage of some images I took of my Spotify playlist and home page, I have created multiple playlists and they are easy to find in ‘my library’. The top right image shows the different playlists/albums catered to me because of the certain songs I have listened to/are in my playlist. I have Spotify premium which lets me listen ad free and they have a a good discount for students.

When creating a playlist there are 3 different options, a norma playlist which is adding songs or episodes (podcasts) onto it, an AI playlist which is songs that are added but also songs that are suggested such as songs that are similar to the one on the playlist but are not added by that person or a blend playlist which is made with friends and combines both peoples playlists together. I think having multiple options like this is good fro exploring new music and sharing music with friends and its always nice to have different things to choose from.
