I decided to have a quick look on Dribbble which is a website to find good designers and I came across Ronas IT who created a music app UI design:

These are the 3 main screens that they created, it contains a home screen, listening screen and a recommended which produces songs that relates to what the user has been listening to.

They decided to go for a black, grey and yellow colour pallet which works well as the yellow is vibrant and works as an accent colour alongside the grey and black.

Overall: This is a good concept for a music app re design as it has all the elements that the user needs to have a good listening experience. I like the fact it has a generated recommended page which is based on what songs the user has listened to as it helps them discover and explore new genres of music. Overall, I think this UI is very well done and I am hoping to incorporate some of these elements into my own design as this one works very well!
