This is an app that was created that includes everything about T-Pain, like news, his music and new things coming out. This was something that I recently discovered on the App store and I wanted to include it in my research as I felt this is a good idea for a UI, as I could create an app that it dedicated to everything about that one particular music artist which I feel is a good concept for an app.
On this screen users are able to browse different categories like music, show dates, merch and social media. This page is a good way for users to not only interact with different parts of the app but also find out different things about their favourite artist.
This screen is the community page which is a great way for users to connect with other people who love the same artist as them.
This is a page about news and how he created his music which allows users to learn things as well about the artist.
There is also a feature to pay money to get exclusive content about T-pain. I feel this is a good way to have a free app for everyone to download and explore but also have a section for users who want to spend money to find out different things about that artist, this is a good way of doing it to draw in users as they don’t have to pay for an app.
I did of course explore this app myself to see what it was like but it doesn’t seem to have many things on it anymore:
The news section is completely empty now. I don’t know if this is because no one uploads to it anymore because it isn’t as popular or if the app doesn’t work anymore but I thought it was something important to include in my research.
Overall: this app is a great concept to get users to know everything about their favourite artist, I do think there is a lot of potential for this app but it doesn’t seem that many people interact with it anymore which is unfortunate.
I feel this was a good thing for me to research as I could create something similar for my UI or even something along the lines of this as it can draw users in if it is an app about their favourite music artist and its free to download for everyone.
