Belfast Public Library - Reviews

This is the public library in Belfast which is owned by LibrariesNI, I just wanted to get a photo of the sign and the door saying that they have free Wi-Fi. Shown in the top photo is their opening hours which seem to vary daily, this can be frustrating if people like going to the library later and only have a certain day to do so, they do open later on a Monday which is practical for people but then they close early on a Tuesday.

Having free Wi-Fi is great for people who want to come to the library to do work or have a quite place to sit in to study.

Self serve

This is their self-serve section which allows customers to check out books and return them easily which seems to be the theme in most libraries now which is great for efficiency and if the librarian is busy and you are in a rush.

This is what the library itself looks like, the books are sorted into genre and easy to find, however they don’t seem to have a wide book selection which I noticed when walking into the Library. The kids section is big and has a lot of option but the regular book selection is poor.
